Zoll medical corporation has received the product and will be providing a supplemental report when our investigation is completed.
Event or Problem Description
Complainant alleged that during training by facility staff, the device would not power up.Complainant indicated that there was no patient involvement in the reported malfunction.

Zoll medical corporation evaluated the device, and the customer's report was not replicated or confirmed.The device was put through extensive testing, which included all functional testing, on/off current testing without duplicating the customer's report.The training one step pads were provided for evaluation and were open and used.The new training pads were recommended.The device was recertified and returned to the customer.No trend is associated with reports of this type.
