Event or Problem Description
|
|
It was reported that during the connection of the right lead and extension to the implanted neurostimulator, impedance testing showed elevated values on one contact. The surgeon noted difficulty seating the electrode into the extension and tested the brain lead separately, which showed normal impedances. The extension was replaced, and subsequent impedance testing showed all values within the normal range. The issue was resolved, and no further information is available from the healthcare professional. The patient's device was interrogated post-implant, and impedances remained normal. No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
