Event or Problem Description
It was reported that a 57-year-old caucasian female patient underwent a primary breast reconstruction with two 545cc mentor memorygel boost breast implants and experienced bilateral capsular contracture (baker grade 4 on the left side and baker grade unknown on the right side) post-operatively.The patient had progressive hardening, superior displacement, firmness, and tender to manipulation of the left breast.The patient also experienced firmness on the right side.As a result, the patient underwent explantation on (b)(6) 2025, and replaced with 545cc mentor memorygel boost breast implants (catalog number smhb545) with lot number 2045659 and 2081966.This report is for the right side device.
