It was reported that far field r-wave (ffrw) oversensing occurred on the right atrial (ra) lead and right ventricular (rv) lead impedance trends were slowly climbing in both unipolar and bipolar configurations.Reprogramming successfully eliminated far field r wave oversensing.Alert thresholds for the right ventricular lead were adjusted, and function was as expected. The caller will continue to monitor the right ventricular lead impedances. The ra and rv leads remain in use. no patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
