Event or Problem Description
It was reported that during a procedure involving the circular stapler, the anvil tilted before firing.The doctor closed the stapler and then opened it to reposition, at which point the anvil tilted and would not return to normal.Another circular stapler was opened to continue the procedure.There was no patient injury.
