Event or Problem Description
On (b)(6), the user contacted dario to report high blood glucose (bg) readings. The user reported receiving from his dario meter consecutive bg readings of 500 mg/dl, 300 mg/dl and 215 mg/dl.

Additional Manufacturer Narrative
While on the phone with dario's representative, the user stated that they received high bg readings due to the humidity in their house, since they do not have air conditioning. The user added that the temperature in their house reaches 90 degrees and that they store their strips cartridges in their room.Dario's user guide states in the section of general precautions: "do not store the meter or test strips in an area where the humidity is outside of the range 10-90%, such as a bathroom or kitchen." the user also reported that he had this issue of high bg readings the previous summer, when the heat and humidity were high. The user reported that he opened a new cartridge of strips in a room with air conditioning and he is receiving bg readings in a normal range for him.Since the user's bg reading issue was resolved with new strips, therefore, it can be determined that there was misuse of the strips. This complaint is not confirmed.
