Event or Problem Description
Complainant alleged that during functional testing, the device would not power up.Complainant did not indicate that there was any patient involvement in the reported malfunction.

The device was returned to zoll medical corporation; the customer's report was duplicated and attributed a faulty capacitor on the analog board.The analog board was replaced to resolve the report.The device was recertified and returned to the customer.Analysis for reports of this type has not identified an increase in trend.
