Event or Problem Description
It was reported that during a thyroidectomy procedure, the surgeon attempted to stimulate the recurrent laryngeal nerve on one side but did not get a stimulus response.The surgeon then stimulated the nerve on the opposite side and obtained a response.The procedure was completed with the reported product.There was no patient injury.
