It was reported that a patient underwent a cabg procedure on (b)(6) 2025 and suture was used.During a coronary artery bypass graft (cabg) procedure, the suture snapped in the middle of the anastomosis.A total of three (3) sutures were used, all of which experienced breakage during use.Additionally, the needle was observed to bend while being held with the needle holder. The surgeon managed to complete the anastomosis despite the repeated suture snapping and needle deformation. The incident caused procedural delay and inconvenience to the surgical team. There were no patient consequences reported.Additional information was requested.
