Event or Problem Description
Complainant alleged that during biomed testing, the device displayed a "compressor failure -1001 " error message.Complainant indicated that there was no patient involvement in the reported malfunction.

The device was returned to zoll medical corporation; the customer's report was duplicated and attributed to a corroded manifold.The corroded manifold will be replaced to resolve the report if the repair estimate is approved.The device was recertified and returned to the customer.Analysis for reports of this type has not identified an increase in trend.
