Additional information: d4, d6a, d6b, h4, h6 correction: d2a the reported infection could not be confirmed.It was reported that a right-sided tmj prosthesis, initially implanted without complications, was later explanted due to infection; no further clinical details or device evaluation were available, infection is a known risk per ifu, and the root cause could not be determined.Based on the investigation, there is no indication for an incorrectly working product or any design, material, or manufacturing related issue.Therefore, no corrective and/or preventive actions are deemed necessary at this time.
