Event or Problem Description
Complainant alleged that during biomed testing, the device powered on without display.Complainant indicated that there was no patient involvement in the reported malfunction.

The device was returned to zoll medical corporation; the customer's report was observed and attributed to an lcd cable that was not properly seated.The cable will be reseated to correct the reported problem if the repair estimate is approved.The device will be recertified and returned to the customer.Analysis for reports of this type has not identified an increase in trend.
