It was reported that the plasmakinetic super pulse function of the electrosurgical, cutting and coagulation and accessories was not working.There were no reports of patient harm.

This supplemental report is being submitted to provide the results of the final investigation.Updated fields: d8, h2, h3, h4, h6, and h11.The device was not returned to olympus for inspection; however, technical assistance center (tac) provided remote troubleshooting and stated that the device in question will be discontinued for repairs in 2026 and emailed the customer with a discontinuation letter.The reported failure was not confirmed.Based on the results of the investigation, a probable root cause could not be identified.Should additional relevant information become available, a supplemental report will be submitted.Olympus will continue to monitor field performance for this device.
