Complainant alleged that during biomed testing, the device's screen turned completely white and was illegible.Complainant indicated that there was no patient involvement in the reported malfunction.

Zoll medical corporation has not received the device for evaluation and this complaint is still under investigation.

The device was returned to zoll medical corporation for evaluation.The customer's report was observed and attributed to a faulty lcd display.A visual inspection of the device indicated user mishandling.The lcd screen was replaced as a precaution.The device was recertified and returned to the customer.Analysis of reports of this type has not identified an increase in trend.
