Event or Problem Description
It was reported that during implant of a leadless implantable pulse generator (ipg), the patient experienced a cardiac perforation, pericardial effusion, cardiac tamponade and cardiac arrest.A pericardiocentesis and cardiopulmonary resuscitation was required but they were unsuccessful and the patient passed away.
