Event or Problem Description
|
|
It was reported that cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) feature that monitors the pacing amplitude threshold and adjusts right ventricular (rv) lead outputs was suspected to have inducted ventricular tachycardia/ ventricular fibrillation (vt/vf).It was also reported that loss of capture was observed consistent with capture management testing.Additionally, it was noted that the rv lead triggered a lead integrity alert (lia) due to sensing integrity counter (sic) and high-rate non-sustained episodes. The crt-d and ra lead remain in use.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
