Good faith effort attempts were made to try and retrieve additional details regarding the reported event, but further information was unable to be obtained.
Event or Problem Description
It was reported that balloon rupture occurred.The 85% stenosed target lesion was located in the moderately tortuous and severely calcified left anterior descending artery.A 2.00mm x 15mm maverick balloon catheter was advanced for dilation.However, during inflation, the balloon ruptured.The device was removed, and the procedure was completed with another of same device.No patient complications were reported, and patient was in good condition post-procedure.
