Event or Problem Description
|
|
As reported, approximately 5 years and 3 months post the initial left total knee arthroplasty, the patient was revised due to instability of the femur. The revision was supposed to be femur only, but due to the patient having a 4.5 femur, everything had to be explanted so that a constrained liner could be implanted. There was no reported breakage of a device or surgical delay/prolongation.The patient was last known to be in stable condition following the event.
