Complainant alleged that while attempting to treat a patient (age & gender unknown), the device displayed a "compressor fault-2001 " error message.Complainant did not indicate that there was any adverse effect to the patient due to the reported malfunction.

Zoll medical corporation evaluated the device and the customer's report was not replicated or confirmed.The device was put through extensive testing including internal inspection, full functionality stress testing, and calibration testing without duplicating the report.The device was recertified and returned to the customer.No trend is associated with reports of this type.
