Event or Problem Description
It was reported that during a laparoscopic procedure involving removal of a specimen, the seal of the trocar became disengaged from the obturator, and fell into the cavity of the patient.The seal was retrieved.The issue was resolved by using a new trocar to complete the case.No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
