It was reported that stent elongation occurred, requiring placement of another stent. The 90% stenosed target lesion was located in the mildly tortuous and mildly calcified carotid artery.A 10x37,5.9f,135cm carotid wallstent was selected for treatment. However, during the procedure, stent elongation was noted through angiographic image. The stent was fully expanded and implanted, and the procedure was completed with another of the same device. There were no patient complications as a result of this event, and the patient was in good condition post-procedure.
