Event or Problem Description
Medtronic received information regarding a navigation system being used outside of a procedure.It was reported that images downloaded from picture archiving and communication systems (pacs) wirelessly were often missing slices, and the system designates them as not optimal for the system.This same issue occurred on a different system.Troubleshooting was performed, it was mentioned wifi was unreliable and spotty in the hospital.The probable cause was found within the resolution for a different case that indicated this was an issue with the hospital's wifi.No patient was present.
