Event or Problem Description
According to the reporter, during a thoracoscopic pulmonary segmentectomy, during transection of the pulmonary vein, there was a poo r staple formation on the proximal end of the staple line.Additionally, bleeding was also noted proximally.To resolve the issue, reinforced stitching with the suture was performed.
