Event or Problem Description
It was reported that a week following a gastric sleeve procedure, a leak of contents being held by tissue was discovered.The patient presented with pain, which led to the identification of the staple line leak.Extended hospitalization was required, and a drain was installed to address the complication, resolving the issue without major procedures.
