It was reported that, during a rotator cuff repair, after the internal fixation was completed, preparations were made for the suture bridge surgery.A 3.8 conical bone awl was used to create a path, and the insertion site was cleared of all debris, then, when a footprint ultra suture anchor was being implanted, it broke. The broken pieces were removed using graspers and suction. The procedure was resumed, after a non-significant delay, using an equivalent s+n back-up, in the originally drilled bone hole.Additional anesthesia was not required. No further complications were reported. The patient's status is fine.
