The device was returned to zoll medical corporation for evaluation.During investigation of the device to determine root cause, the technician observed the connector on the control board at a wire link was lifted, which is consistent with mis-handling.The connector was properly seated.The device was recertified and returned to the customer.Analysis of reports of this type has not identified an increase in trend.

Complainant alleged that during biomed testing, the device would intermittently not power up.Complainant indicated that there was no patient involvement in the reported malfunction.
