Event or Problem Description
|
|
As reported, approximately 7 years and 7 months post the initial right total knee arthroplasty, the patient's tibial and patellar polys were revised due to wear.Bone scans showed hot activity on the posterior femur, which could indicate osteolysis and loosening of the component.Intra-op findings demonstrated a well-fixed femur, therefore only the polys were revised. There was no reported breakage of a device or surgical delay/prolongation.The patient was last known to be in stable condition following the event.
