Event or Problem Description
On (b)(6) 2026, a patient underwent a breast biopsy procedure via fatty tissue density using a maxcore instrument.During the procedure the device allegedly fired on its own.No coaxial needle was used.The procedure was completed using another device.There was no reported patient injury.
