Event or Problem Description
On (b)(6) 2024, the patient underwent an endovascular procedure to treat an abdominal aortic aneurysm (aaa) utilizing gore® excluder® conformable aaa endoprosthesis (cxt281412) and gore® excluder® aaa endoprosthesis (plc141400 and plc181400).On (b)(6) 2026, the patient underwent a reintervention procedure due to a possible type 3 endoleak. It was reported that the type 3 endoleak appeared to be due to a component disconnection between the cxt281412 and plc141400.It was also reported that the plc141400 appeared to lack full wall apposition, which could have contributed to the type 3 endoleak. The prior implants were relined with four gore® excluder® aaa endoprosthesis contralateral leg components, resolving the endoleak. The physician reported that the patient's aneurysm increased in size from the initial implant date, however, growth amount is unknown. It was reported the devices in the initial implant had adequate overlap per ifu. There is no clinical imaging available. The patient tolerated the procedure.
