Event or Problem Description
It was reported that balloon rupture occurred.The 90% stenosed target lesion was located in the moderately tortuous and severely calcified superficial femoral artery.An 8.0 x 40, 135cm mustang balloon catheter was advanced for dilation.During the procedure, the balloon ruptured upon first inflation at 20 atmospheres for 30 seconds.The device was removed, and the procedure was completed with a different device.There were no patient complications as a result of this event, and the patient was in good condition post-procedure.
