Event or Problem Description
In-situ measurements show an increase in channels affected by high impedances since may 2023.Due to complex medical history, re-implantation is not recommended; the audiologist is re-programming the right processor for sound awareness, disabling the hi electrodes and electrodes showing significant fluctuation.

Additional Manufacturer Narrative
Additional information: according to the currently available information, damage to the active electrode likely caused by minute device mobility is suspected.Mechanical influences, like the reported head hitting may have led to a weakening of the fixation and therefore may have led to device mobility. However, to determine an exact root cause a device investigation of the explanted device is necessary.Due to the complex medical history the recipient will not undergo revision surgery.Affected channels have been disabled and recipient will be further monitored.
