It was reported that information was received from an allied healthcare professional stating the patient¿s neurostimulator had been removed while the leads remained implanted. The caller reported that an active neurostimulator was placed on (b)(6) 2021; however, imaging from (b)(6) 2021 showed only the leads remaining, with no neurostimulator present and no extensions appearing to run from the leads down the patient¿s neck. The caller confirmed the leads were capped and stated it appeared the neurostimulator and extensions were removed days following a neurostimulator replacement.Lead-only system mri guidelines were reviewed, and the caller was transferred to the representative paging service as requested.
