Event or Problem Description
It was reported that the patient implanted with this artificial urinary sphincter (aus) experienced recurrent urinary incontinence.During cystoscopy, it was observed that the cuff was not fully coapting the urethra.A surgical revision procedure was subsequently performed, during which no device issues were identified.The aus was explanted and replaced.The physician selected a more proximal location than the original cuff site and implanted a new 5.0 cm cuff.No additional patient complications were reported.
