It was reported that the patient presented in clinic for initial implant procedure on (b)(6) 2026.Upon fixation during procedure, the right atrial (ra) leadless pacemaker (lp) exhibited intermittent high threshold, low sensing of p-wave, and decreased pacing impedance.Repositioning was attempted, but the ralp was difficult to be re-docked to the delivery catheter.Eventually, the ralp was able to be re-docked, and repositioned.Ralp helix was visually examined outside of the body, and no issue was noted. The ralp was implanted as a result.Upon cardiac ultra-sound imaging post-procedure, it was found that the patient had developed a pericardial effusion due to a cardiac perforation. The patient was transferred to an intensive care unit with a chest tube inserted for the effusion. No further intervention was performed.Patient condition was stable.
