Event or Problem Description
It was reported that the patient with an artificial urinary sphincter (aus) experienced recurring incontinence, which was believed to be related to urethral atrophy and the age of the device.A revision procedure was performed during which the entire artificial urinary sphincter (aus) system was explanted and replaced with a new aus system.At the patient's request, the existing inflatable penile prosthesis (ipp) system was also explanted.No patient complications were reported.
