Event or Problem Description
|
|
It was reported that the day following implant, the right ventricular (rv) lead and left ventricular (lv) lead exhibited high thresholds and no capture. The leads had dislodged. The patient experienced bradycardia and unstable ventricular tachycardia (vt).It was noted that after the leads lost capture, the patient went into vt and was shocked and this was thought to have been caused by the leads causing a short long pattern. Both leads were explanted and replaced. No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
