It was reported that this pacemaker recorded a code 1003, indicating the voltage is too low for the projected remaining capacity.A request was made to have data from this device analyzed.Data analysis identified potential high impedance within the battery.Device replacement was recommended.No adverse patient effects were reported.This device remains in service at this time.Additional information was received indicating that this pacemaker was subsequently explanted.Another pacemaker was implanted to complete this procedure.This pacemaker has not been returned at this time.No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
