It was reported that "the bandages don't stick!! the adhesive wears off less than half an hour after application!".
Additional Manufacturer Narrative
The customer reported that the bandages don't stick and the adhesive wears off less than half an hour after application.Physical samples were provided by the customer for review; 1 bx was received opened with most of the bandages still within, and 6 bandages demonstrated no sign of weak adhesion when stuck to a clean, dry surface, with no visual abnormalities noted.Based off the physical samples, the complaint issue cannot be confirmed.Based off the vendor's response, nothing was found within any relevant records to indicate any potential contributors towards the complaint issue, and based on the information provided and the results of the investigation, medline is not able to confirm the reported issue or that the product failed to meet specifications.There were no reports of death, serious injury, medical intervention, or follow up care.It has been determined that the reported event could cause or contribute to serious injury if it were to occur again.In an abundance of caution, this is a reportable event.If additional information becomes available this report will be reopened and reevaluated.This medical device report (mdr) is being submitted as part of retrospective review activities, which include review of historical data in accordance with regulations at 21 cfr part 803.The information included in this mdr reflects the information reasonably known to the manufacturer at the time of this retrospective review and submission.
