Event or Problem Description
It was reported that cerebral vascular accident occurred.A left atrial appendage (laa) closure procedure was performed, and a 35mm watchman flx pro closure device was implanted on (b)(6) 2026.Heparin was administrated after transeptal puncture, and the activated clotting time (act) was 385 seconds.During the procedure, the closure device met position, anchor, size and seal (pass) criteria.During the post-operative care, the patient had a stroke and ended up having to go to neurology before being discharged on the same day as implantation.Per the physician, the patient had some residual effects from the stroke.The patient was placed on antithrombotic medication.
