Additional Manufacturer Narrative
Analysis was performed by remote service personnel which included remote trouble shooting. The results of the analysis indicate the audio and visual signal is being sent from the host pc through a halls research multi-port splitter. The video signal is vga and the speakers at the monitoring station are cream colored and use a 2.5 mm audio jack to plug into the halls research receiver. The audio at these remote viewing areas is degraded. It was noted that this is not a supported philips solution for extending audio and video.Based on the results of the analysis, it was determined that the product has malfunctioned and the most likely cause of the reported problem was the use of unsupported video and audio splitting solutions. The customer was provided information regarding replacing the unsupported components with components for a supported solution.Based on the information available and results of additional analysis, no further action is necessary at this time.If additional information is received, the complaint file will be reopened for further investigation.
