A review of the complaint history for sn (b)(6) was performed in salesforce which did not locate similar complaint(s) with the same failure mode for this serial number.A review of the device history record for sn (b)(6) was performed from the date of manufacture, 14-mar-2022 and confirmed that this device was not previously returned for servicing and there were no production failures which correlates to the customer reported issue.Upon investigation of the actual device used in this incident, it was determined that the cubie lid was not opening.A technical support specialist (tss) investigated a reported issue where medication could not be dispensed because certain cubie lids were not opening. The tss remotely accessed the cabinet, used the test application to evaluate drawer and cubie lid functionality, and identified an error during testing.Further inspection by onsite nursing staff revealed that medication tablets had become lodged within the cubie lid mechanism, preventing proper operation. After the obstruction was removed, the tss retested the affected cubie lids and confirmed that they opened normally. The tss also guided the customer through an inventory verification process to ensure medication counts were accurate, and the cycle count was successfully completed for the affected medications. The system functioned as intended after the technical support specialist investigated the issue.
