It was reported that this was an arteriotomy closure of the right common femoral artery using a prostyle device after a cerebral infarction thrombectomy procedure using an 8f sheath.Reportedly, the procedure was performed in the usual manner; however, adequate hemostasis could not be achieved.A second prostyle device was used to achieve hemostasis. Two days after the procedure during hospitalization, echo examination confirmed stenosis of the vessel near the puncture site and a structure resembling suture material within the vessel near the puncture site. The suture captured the back wall of the vessel, likely due to plaque on the back wall.Vascular repair surgery was performed on (b)(6) 2026.There was a reported clinically significant delay in the procedure or therapy. No additional information was provided.
