Event or Problem Description
|
|
It was reported that the patient had inappropriate shocks due to the oversensing of noise via reduced intrinsic complexes. The smart pass feature had programmed itself off due to the low intrinsic amplitudes. The sensing vector was set to the primary vector. There were untreated episodes stored due to the same noise. The doctor ordered some imaging which confirmed there is no suture near sense b electrode. The clinic reprogrammed the sensing vector to the secondary vector. The patient had another inappropriate shock.Technical services advised some options. There were no additional adverse patient effects. The system remains implanted.
