The sodium electrode lot number and expiration date were not provided. The field service engineer (fse) found that the aspiration tubing in the wash chamber was partially torn at the vacuum vessel, causing sporadic dripping from the needle into random cuvettes. He replaced the wash station tubing set.The fse performed test runs with successful results. He then verified that the instrument was performing within specifications. The investigation is ongoing.
