Additional Manufacturer Narrative
This report has been identified as b.Braun medical internal report number 400776926.One (1) photo was submitted to the manufacturer for evaluation.Through visual examination of the photo, a small, blue-colored particulate or fiber-like fragment placed on the surface of a white nonwoven wipe was observed. The particle appears elongated, irregular in shape, and blue in color. However, based on the photo alone, no further characteristics regarding the nature, composition, or dimensions of the particle can be confirmed.A review of the device history record (dhr) was performed for the reported lot number, and no abnormalities or non-conformances were noted during the in process or final product inspection. An in-depth review of the materials used in the manufacture of the aforementioned bag did not identify any raw material consistent with the color of the fiber observed. In the absence of additional information or a sample suitable for physicochemical analysis, its origin cannot be conclusively attributed to the manufacturing process.Based on the investigation, a blue fiber was observed in the provided photo. However, an exact root cause could not be determined at this time.We will maintain this report for further references and continue to monitor other reports for similar occurrences. If any additional pertinent information becomes available, a follow up will be submitted.
