A review of the complaint history for sn (b)(6)was performed in salesforce which did not locate similar complaint(s) with the same failure mode for this serial number.A review of the device history record for sn (b)(6)was performed from the date of manufacture, 02-feb-2024 and confirmed that this device was not previously returned for servicing and there were no production failures which correlates to the customer reported issue.Upon investigation of the actual device used in this incident, it was determined that the user was unable to issue and item destocked by the system.A technical support specialist (tss) found the countback screen active for drawer 7, position 11 and guided the customer through troubleshooting. The alert cleared after the customer secured door 5.Further investigation showed several unassigned bins still contained items even though myqlink indicated they had been destocked by system.Testing revealed cubie read errors, but the affected cubies continued to release and open correctly.Assisted the customer with reassigning the items to the appropriate bins through the cubex application and advised replacing the cubie pockets if the automatic destocking issue reoccurred. The customer confirmed functionality, authorized case closure, and the findings were escalated to tier 2 for awareness and further review. The system functioned as intended after the technical support specialist troubleshot the device.
