The customer reported the olympus colonovideoscope had a separate issue.During the initial evaluation of the device it was observed, white residue on air water channel and cylinder and auxiliary channel were observed.No patient involvement.
Additional Manufacturer Narrative
The device was returned to olympus for inspection.Based on the results of the investigation, a root cause could not be identified.A review of the device history record found no deviations that could have caused or contributed to the reported issue.Should additional relevant information become available, a supplemental report will be submitted.Olympus will continue to monitor field performance for this device.
