Additional Manufacturer Narrative
A philips remote service engineer (rse) worked with the customer. The rse remotely checked the configuration settings and also looked through the clinical audit trail where they were able to see the alarms; no ¿audible alarms off¿ was seen. While testing and setting off alarms, the customer was able to hear the alarms for room 5.Then they tested room 10 and they were not able to hear the alarms that were set off and seen visually. All settings on the bedside were noted to be correct. An onsite visit was planned; however, the customer informed the scheduled philips technical consultant that the issue had been resolved.Additional information was requested, but no further details were provided on how the customer resolved the issue. The product malfunction was able to be replicated. However, the cause of the issue was unable to be confirmed because the customer did not provide additional information on how they resolved the issue.Based on the information available and results of additional analysis, no further action is necessary at this time. The data entered in this complaint record will be utilized for product quality and safety improvements per the post market surveillance and risk management processes. If additional information is received, the complaint file will be reopened for further investigation.
