A review of the complaint history for sn (b)(6) was performed in salesforce which did not locate similar complaint(s) with the same failure mode for this serial number.A review of the device history record for sn (b)(6) was performed from the date of manufacture, 09-aug-2023 and confirmed that this device was not previously returned for servicing and there were no production failures which correlates to the customer reported issue.Upon investigation of the actual device used in this incident, it was determined that the drawer was offline, and the system was in destock mode.A field service engineer (fse) investigated the drawer offline condition and system destock issue. The fse powered down the unit, replaced the universal serial bus (usb) data cable, rebooted the system, and verified that it was operating correctly. The fse worked with the technical support center to confirm that no additional issues were present.Based on further recommendations, the fse powered down the cabinet again and replaced the power supply unit (psu). The fse then reassembled the cabinet, reconnected all cables, installed a new power cable and a new uninterruptible power supply (ups), and performed boot testing. The system functioned as intended after the field service engineer repaired the device.
