Additional Manufacturer Narrative
A review of the complaint history for (b)(6) was performed in salesforce which did not locate similar complaint(s) with the same failure mode for this serial number.A review of the device history record for (b)(6) was performed from the date of manufacture, 14-feb-2024 and confirmed that this device was not previously returned for servicing and there were no production failures which correlates to the customer reported issue.Upon investigation of the actual device used in this incident, it was determined that the device's communication sled was faulty and adapters still were not present in the network settings.A field service engineer (fse) replaced the communication sled and verified that all cable connections were properly seated. After rebooting the system, the network adapters were still not present in the network settings.Fse then uninstalled and reinstalled the network adapters, restoring proper functionality.Following another reboot, the system launched directly into the application, and the device returned online with all drawers present and communicating correctly.Fse verified device status in remote smart service (rss) and completed functional testing, confirming successful operation and full restoration of system functionality. The system functioned as intended after the field service engineer repaired the device.
